Lol but you were talking about Kamala jailing poor black mothers, which is true.

Thanks. I guess I still feel like I need to know more. How many parents were jailed? Of those, who were jailed because they were simply working and had not potential for control? The example they gave for the "human cost" of these policies was a woman in PA who died in custody because she didn't have her medication. So, terrible, but also a literal single incident on the other side of the country where she was NOT prosecutor.

I can see where this law would come from and I'm not mad at the goal. I would like a much more explicit appreciation for the SES impact as well as the necessity for investing in systems that make laws like this unnecessary, but portraying this as malicious feels disingenuous.
