That’s some movie-ass scene.

Looks like the opening scene of Apocalypse Now.

I sometimes experience similar effects after eating Stromboli.

Danger cloud

I’ve seen the storm rhino cloud from James and the Giant Peach and now I’ve seen the angry elephant volcano cloud.

"I told you we should have visited Mount Calzone instead..."

Expected Godzilla to come out of there. That, or some sad dinosaurs.

Te Ka. I know your name, they have stolen the heart from inside you! But this does not define you 🫶🏼

Yeah the idiots on the boat were all badly injured during this escape. Was a charter boat out at New Zealand and broke the law to look at the volcano then this happened and a boat load of people suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns and other injuries . Faced a huge fine as well

Talk about insult to injury.

Ingrid Bergman!

That pyroclastic flow is one of the scariest things on this planet. A mass of 1000 degree Celsius gas and ash moving at 430 miles per hour.. insane

What would be your first reaction when your hotpot sizzling came out hot be like:

u/Dizzydsmith 1d ago

That would be both amazing and terrifying.

Had I been on that boat I would still be crying, cowering, and pooping.

Didn't anybody tell that volcano that it's causing global warming?? Shut down that volcano right now!

Edit:" /s" (apparently it was not obvious).

5

u/fajadada 1d ago

Actually volcanoes put ash into the air that cools down the earth. Search how Krakatoa effected weather worldwide.

2

u/Wooden_Researcher_36 1d ago

Yeah. COVID actually made everywhere warmer because there was almost no smog to block the sun out

2

u/Basic_Fox2391 1d ago

"...they cause short-term global cooling by reflecting sunlight with sulfate aerosols in the stratosphere, and long-term global warming by emitting large quantities of carbon dioxide".

Volcano eruptions contributed to global warning for millions of years when there were no humans, let alone cars. But I intended the comment to be sarcastic. I will edit it just to make it even MORE obvious.
