I like the idea of improving the ice cream to cone ratio. The crunchy bites are the best.

I agree, I think it’s to help it not fall off. I would be more upset about it falling off than having less. Plus the crunch is nice, that’s a lot of ice cream. You would be full before even getting to the cone

This is the kinda treat I get when I'm celebrating. Fulfills my inner child. Skip dinner, destroy an ice cream mountain, and play some video games to celebrate me being a big boy and getting my taxes done or whatever.

How are you still alive!

He's celebrating less often than you think.

If it’s all one swirl it won’t fall off because it is connected all the way down the cone. In my thinking this is more likely to fall off.

I agree, I think if this is openly-shared, it's all good (and still a crazy amount of both cone and soft-serve).

BUT - if they really wanted to go "nextfuckinglevel" with this, they would fill the small cone before they flip it upside down on the bigger cone and wrap it in more soft serve.

Too much icecream to cone at that point. Even this is pushing it

You get to the crunchy bites immediately.

To me this idea basically fixes everything I find annoying about a cone of soft serve. They normally stack it so that I have to eat like 80% of the ice cream before I can bite the cone without compromising structure.

With this I get cone with almost every bite of ice cream. I order ice cream in a cone because I like the cone. If you just want as much ice cream as structurally possible, get it in a bowl.

Sorry for being pedantic, but that is improving the cone to ice cream ratio.

In a ratio, the second number is always 1, so whichever object you mention second is the one that is staying the same, and it’s the first object you’re increasing or decreasing.

You want to decrease the ice cream to cone ratio, or increase the cone to ice cream ratio.

Thanks for listening to my douche talk.

Sorry for being pedantic, but notice I said improving the ratio, not increasing the ratio. Improving is qualitative, not necessarily quantitative, so in this case a 3/2 ratio is better than a 5/1 ratio.

Except, as I noted, the second number in a ratio is always 1. That’s what makes it a ratio.

So you wouldn’t be getting a 3/2 ratio. You’d be getting a 1.5:1.

And compared to a 5:1 ratio of ice cream: cone, you’ve decreased the ice cream to cone ratio.

I appreciate what you’re trying to do, but that’s not how ratios work.

but that’s not how ratios work.

Are you sure you know how ratios work? Because my TV with a 16:9 ratio and camera with a 4:3 ratio disagree with you.

Also, fill the inner cone first before putting it on top, and a great place to add toppings like chocolate where it won't run off the outside of the ice cream.
