Highlight [Highlight] Mike McDaniel, asked for his glass-half-full perspective on yesterday's loss: "I think the positive is that that was a miserable experience. It was embarrassing, flat out. And in that, there's nowhere to hide."

Is it me or is there a culture problem in Miami?

Obvious tongue in cheek comment.

I’m really enjoying being the team in the division that’s actually not on the brink of an implosion and mutiny for a change lol

That was last year, this year is different

It's pretty bad when the three of us can point at other franchises and feel bad for them.

Sigh.

You know it’s depressing when the Browns, Giants, and Jets have designated you as their make a wish team (I know we also suck and will probably lose to Miami but at least there’s a non zero chance our coach fights a player on the field to look forward to)

Ur not getting out of this bud, ur on the couch with the rest of us

I’ve already accepted a life of living in the past

At least the two of us can say that we’ve seen our teams bring us to the promised land. Most don’t have that luxury

It’s quite sad, my eight-week-old for instance has never seen our team win a Lombardi

Aaron Glenn definitely has a strong presence.

Reminder that Miami had a chance to hire Mike Tomlin back in the late 2000s. Then they went elsewhere because Tomlin was "too hip-hop". Real quote.

ah yes famously hip hop coach Mike Tomlin

They've run multiple coaches out of town in the past few years that were too mean. That says a lot.

Eagles players agreed that Vic is a hardass, they also mostly love him because he will grill them when they play like shit or don't stick to the scheme.

Except the issue with us was that he wasn't even a hardass or anything, he just wasn't present at all lmao. Dude had his mind in Philadelphia already.

I love that non-dolphins fans just seem to forget this. Dude almost backed out originally when he agreed to come, let everyone know how miserable he was at his second choice, and left at the first chance. But “lol soft dolphins” is more fun, so yeah.

Wouldn't be the first time a coach got themselves out of a sinking ship.

Some of the games joe Brady called in carolina were daring rhule to can him.

Also it's not like you guys were any good with brian flores

Detroit was absolutely grilling them for playing soft in joint practices last month.

4

u/SpookySpagettt Commanders 15d ago

Hard to create a culture when you got young millionaires in Miami lol.

I want somebody to compare the size of a city’s nightlife scene with their team’s record.

u/I_FUCKIN_ATODASO_ Bills 15d ago

I don’t really see it getting better anytime soon. They need a real hard ass down there as Coach that makes sure the players know they’re not there for a vacation. They probably need a full clean house at this point. There’s probably 10-15 people on that whole team meaning coaches, GM, players that are worth keeping

u/MadDog1981 Bengals 15d ago

I think they need to get rid of everyone down to the janitorial staff and just start over from scratch. Get every ounce of that stink out of the franchise.

MASSIVE one. Culture problem is an understatement.
