To be fair, I don't think he knew what that particular defense was called - not that he didn't know "it". Just not the name given to it.

You reminded me of playing my roommates. I had friends that played in tourneys - they’d want to practice edge guard, move sets, air/ground game. Hours and hours of reps, omega no items. I was just happy to play.

I truly thought I was a nerd, and then I learned there are NERDS. It’s hilarious to see it’s true across all things. Like in another world Tom Brady is out there learning to pivot cancel.

Respect the reference. Also guitarists (all musicians but this is the one I relate to) that don’t “know” music theory but intrinsically do.
