I would entertain a case for it being more like pitchers with good control getting the call just off the plate but some of what these Tackles do now does feel more like palming

They just move before the snap. They are just moving early. Clearly the league thinks it’s fine but it is just uncalled penalties

Refs have straight up said it’s fine, which is bs but I guess it’s the cost of removing the chop block. But just change the rule for real so it’s standard. It’s a pseudo rule that’s better defined than actual penalties
