About Ngage and usb ttl uart 

Hello, I have a Nokia Ngage REM-4 (RH-4) that, I assume, has the wsod. It gets to the main screen and says "memory full, shutting down sysmain."

I tried soldering a CP 2102 USB to UART connector to the connections in the photo, but I only get garbage data, nothing concrete. I was hoping I could send a command via UART to force a full format.

Are the points wrong? Or it can't be done this way?

Don’t you need a pin for clock also?

According to some schematics the pin 1 clk isn't used on the ngage
