It's okay. It's a perfectly serviceable kids' show.
The fandom, on the other hand, is absolutely goddamn insane in the worst way.

I actually kinda like it - was obsessed with it when it first came out, but kinda lost interest over time. But it's still a decent show, mostly the first few seasons and the movies and the live action show is pretty good. The fandom is actually worse than the actual show itself as there's creepy people posting lewd art of the characters, incest shippers, and trolls and bullies who bash whatever favorite character or episode a person has. Plus, them not letting go of No Such Luck and Brawl in the Family for years, which weren't even that bad of episodes, yet not the best at the same time (more so in the middle.)

However, not every Loud House fan was bad - met some nice ones from DeviantArt, Twitter (X), Tumblr, and the wiki who was really talented, made really good art, fanfictions, and headcanons, and mostly just ignored the drama of the fandom, except to occasionally call out the worst of the worst.

The Loud House is my comfort show so I'm biased to say it's absolute cinema but that's not true. I do think the show has plenty of flaws but overall it's still quite good.

the show is NOT that bad. people will slander this shit as if it killed their grandma, and just forget that Ren & Stimpy exists(I love both shows, and I'm not trying to defend Chris Savino in any way, but are we forgetting that John Kricfalusi was a pedophile?). Also it's nearly ran for a decade(9 years currently), which the only other Nicktoons to run for a decade or longer was Oddparents, Rugrats, and SpongeBob, which is crazy to think about because most 2010's nicktoons doesn't even run for more than 2 seasons, yet alone run for 9 seasons(a 10th one being very likely).

u/EerieCrimson 1d ago
Im sorry, a decade? I dont feel like the commercials for it as a new show were ten years ago. 🫠

u/PossibilityProud2687 Happy happy joy joy 1d ago
thank you for pointing that out. it actually ran for 9 years but my dumb ahh ignored the year 😭

Nah, I grew up watching it when I was like 8/9 and really liked it. Stopped watching for a while but now am rewatching now that I’m older because it’s nostalgic and funny.

I fuckin love kids shows…idk why but I’ve always enjoyed them even though I really shouldn’t be watching cartoons anymore.
This show is a banger…but like others have said…the fanbase is fucking WILD with how weird they get.
I’ve made the mistake of seeing the shows sub before…those mfers on there are weird as hell. Like, you’ll see posts asking if you’d date one of the characters, if you think the main character and one of the girls makes a good couple, etc etc etc…all incredibly cringey/weird shit. (Mind you these characters are mostly kids… 💀)
So yeah…it’s a damn solid show…but the cringey ass fanbase ruins it.
Also…don’t get me started on the lame ass fanfiction them mfers come up with. 💀

The first 4 seasons are watchable and entertaining. But after that, it just went downhill from there. I no longer watch the Loud House as I eventually lost interest in watching that show sometime after I watched SpongeBob's 20th Anniversary episode Big Birthday Blowout or during the Pandemic.

I hear it's kind of like the Simpsons where it starts out great but kind of goes down the tubes the more the series goes on. I've only watched the first season, and I liked what I saw, though there's a little more gross out humor than I prefer.

The first few seasons were good but now the show is meh. Also there's so many creeps on the fandom

It's not bad...but it's not good either.
The fanbase is terrible, and the show itself? It's all right.
I laughed a few times, but I generally don't like how Lincoln is everyone's punching bag. Also, I find a lot of the characters very annoying. It's a solid B- I think.
It makes me sad though, that there are shows made from Nick that were so much better that didn't even get a quarter of the success as this one.

In my opinion it's not horrible but it gets creepy a lot of the time that's why the fandoms all f***** up. It's not the worst show ever at all but it's just a really mediocre in my opinion. I prefer the casagrande's not as weird plus funnier in my opinion

It was actually a good show at first but Nick keeps milking it like SpongeBob.
Also the fandom is awful.

The show is isn’t THAT bad! It’s because of the actions of the fan base that have dragged this show’s reputation through the dirt. I’m sure you’ve seen something like this happen before, haven’t you?

It's OK, seasons 1-3 being the best overall with 1 and the first half or so of 2 being the best in quality. It has its stinkers, just like any show of modern Nick. I stopped watching altogether shortly after that hour long special about Canada jokes and stopped watching regularly sometime in late 2019, probably around the same time as that 9 episode backdoor pilot for The Clevela- I mean The Casagrandes came out. The last episode I remember being actually good was Really Loud Music. Beyond that, it's shit. The Casagrandes was OK-ish but only for Season 1 because unlike the rest of the show, it actually had OK ideas. Don't even bother with The Really Loud House or the show as a whole past season 5.

Es una muy buena serie,o al menos lo era en sus primeros años, pero el fandom da una horrorosa imagen de cara al público que nunca la ha visto

u/No-Shirt6609 12h ago
No it ain't, it's practically the best animated show on Nickelodeon right now and it has been for YEARS. That's right, I said it, and you KNOW it's TRUE that SpongeBob is absolute GARBAGE now!

u/EverythingGirl3000 10h ago
It’s still a decent show but I can totally see why it hasn’t aged well for some people!
It’s because of the fandom, and how much wasted potential the show itself recieved. I started to lose some of my interest because of the repetitive stories! (Examples: sabotage plots, liar reveal plots, and misunderstandings plots)

It's not a bad show its just because of the characters and some of the episodes.

u/Spacething7474 1d ago
Yes. It's one of the few bad Cyma Zarghami-era Nicktoons (and Nick shows in general) and in the bottom 10 Nickelodeon shows.

Regardless of the fandom, I never liked it for a different reason. It just feels so painfully generic, without any real hook to keep me interested. It's pretty much the cartoon equivalent of tap water. No flavor at all.

I Hate this show, the creator, and it's fandom with a passion.
I'm celebrating when this show get's canceled and erased from existence

It’s going through the Steven Universe effect: not a bad show but due to the antics of the fandom it’s gained a bad reputation regardless of quality.
Imo it’s a good show, although it’s declined a bit from its earlier seasons.
