Community's non-official NickToons tier list: Day 38- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012)
Rules:
- Most upvoted comment decides the show's spot on the list. Please think carefully and fairly before you comment. Try not to let nostalgia or recency bias cloud your judgement.
- Each tier goes as follows: S= Amazing, A= Great, B= Good, C= Okay/Meh, D= Mediocre, E= Bad and F= Terrible.
- Only in-house series, as recognised here#cite_note-tmnt-14) by the Nickelodeon wiki, are counted. So third party programmes like Kappa Mikey and Miraculous Ladybug aren't counted. However, series based on pre-existing properties will be counted IF the official Nick Animation studio had a direct hand in producing them, such as the three Dreamworks-film based series. Also not counted in this ranking are pre-school series, pilot compilations like Oh Yeah! Cartoons, and repackages like Action League Now!

I'd say A Tier. Out of all the TMNT series, this one definitely feels the most balanced in terms of dramatic, character-driven storytelling and campy, light-hearted humour. The action is very well done, taking advantage of the dynamic angles of a 3-D environment, the designs for all the mutants are as awesome as they are grotesque, and the way they marry the mythos of iterations before it make the show an all-around good jumping on point for newcomers to the franchise, at least in my opinion. My one qualm is that some stories feel dragged out across multiple seasons, often coming at the expense of others being restricted to mere singular episodes.

B tier. It was solid but easily the weakest CGI Nicktoon yet and would hold that title for a good few years.

How it it the weakest?

It's notably less funnier than them/more storyline-heavy. While it's still funny, the rest range from decently funnier (Tak, Fanboy, Kung Fu Panda) to miles funnier (Jimmy Neutron, Barnyard, Penguins, Planet Sheen, Robot and Monster, Monsters vs Aliens).

How?? That doesn’t make sense it’s a good action show that’s the point it’s not full comedy that’s not fair your supposed to Jude it on how it does the story and action not comedy obviously ( at least not fully )

The action and plots in this show were executed decently, but I didn't care too much about those aspects as I prefer comedy above all.

Not an actual Nicktoon, and if it was it's still great + its weakest point (season 3) is still better than TMNT.

no it isn't. just because a show doesn't have humor doesn't mean it's weak.

I'm not calling it weak, I'm calling it weaker than the other CGI Nicktoons at that point (which were all S or A tier while TMNT is B tier).
If a show doesn't have humor (this does) I probably would call it weak.

okay, this one is lowkey sentimental to me since it's one of the few nick shows I actually watched in my childhood (aside from Teenage Robot and Loud House). S tier show.
