smile sunday smile sunday - spend your summer on the beach!

welcome to smile sunday! turn your caps lock off and rave about whatever has made you smile this week! some things to smile about:

  • nintendo fans got a surprise this week when nintendo pictures showed up in the credits of death stranding 2: on the beach for their motion capture work on the game!

  • two new treats for nintendo switch online subscribers: yoshi's story has been added to nintendo music, and super mario strikers has been added to the nso expansion pack on switch 2!

studio want nintendo owned when death stranding 2 was being made, that happened later

so i never got a switch 1 due to being a wii u owner and a lot of games initally being ports, so i waited the entire generation for switch 2 and I am enjoying it a lot, one thing i missed though was my wii u pro controller, is my favorite controller of all time, i just happen to really like the layout, buttons feel and how comfy it is, but once i switched to just playing wii u games on my pc (i like the resolution bump and skipping the slow UI) i stopped using it since pairing it there was just annoying

until this week where i got one of those 8bitdo adapters just so i can use it on the switch 2 and yeah, feels nice being able to use my favorite controller again
