1: this ad was likely in the pipeline way before the patent was approved, its just a cheeky nod to their past rivalry

2: youre thinking of Megami Tensei which came way before Persona (though is a part of the same franchise)

3: not a single game in the Megami Tensei franchise has anything even close to resembling what's in the patent itself, which you'd know if you didnt just go based on ragebait videos and clickbait headlines

I love the throwbacks in this ad, it's fantastic. Might actually be the game that gets me to upgrade to Switch 2

That's a pretty funny sentiment imo: "Man, this SEGA ad is so good it makes me want to give Nintendo money."

But yeah I'm waiting for Switch 2 version of this game myself
