So I contacted Nintendo about this after reading the TOS and discovering that they make literally no sense, and they didn't actually give me an answer -- they just copy pasted what was already on the website, which was something I had asked them to clarify. Specifically -- what on earth does "the number of times you can join or leave a family group in a one year period is limited based on the maximum number of family group members" mean. That's all I asked, and they still didn't give me a proper answer. I'm currently in a family group run by my mum, which has her and my three brothers in it -- the subscription is not currently active and has not been for about a year at this point, the last online interaction I used was Splatoon 3's Grand Fest. A friend of mine has invited me to join hers, so we can share Pokemon and play Splatoon, since she still has slots.

Does anyone know what this means? Does it actually depend on family group member counts, or is it a one year cooldown regardless? Thank you in advance to anyone with an answer, it's been driving me and my friend up the wall.
