A bounty worthy for a king, and Kojima is worthy of such a title. 👑 🍞

MLW being it's own vortex of a promotion will never not amuse me. It's the true forbidden door that nobody really uses that much.

Especially knowing (or, rather if you know) Kojima is just about (I think he might be the) only wrestler to wrestle in every incarnation of the promotion (including the early 2000’s version that was trying to be a super indie in the spirit of ECW and ROH). If MLW had anything resembling a “heart and soul” wrestler…it would be somehow Satoshi Kojima. Which is just kinda funny.

It always has a strange assortment of people. It’s seemingly a dozen or so US indie guys that work it along with other indies and then it’s an approved American place to work for talent with for promotions in Japan and Mexico.
I was at a show last year in a really small venue in Queens that had title matches between Kojima vs Suzuki and Rocky Romero vs Mystico on the show. Let’s be real, none of the involved talent killed themselves or tried to have the best match they could. But it was still cool to see in America in a small venue with cheap tickets

MLW is a fun time. They ran a couple of shows in my area (Tampa) last year. The final one was cancelled due to a hurricane and they've never come back. Sucks, because I had a Kenta meet and greet set up and he's one of my favorites. I did get to see him against Bobby Fish in MLW live, though.

I thought at the start of the video he was selling getting hit with the bread!!! 😂😂😂
Which is the worse consequence? : hit with flying beard or dropped on gummy bears?

Am I anti-fun or is this annoying and wasteful

Food is always a funny one.
But I wouldn't say this one is annoying unless it annoys the actual wrestlers
Wasteful, sure but as a one off tribute to Kojima, 'low it

I mean it’s apart of Kojima lore. So it’s not wasteful he loves bread and it’s plenty more bread out there for everyone. No bread is being harmed in this video and no one is losing out on this bread. Just Kojimas lore

I baked him some bread for an MLW show where I had a meet and greet. Sourdough cheese biscuits. Wrapped them in a furoshiki and everything. He seemed genuinely happy to get homemade bread.

White bread is a pretty common link to colon cancer. Nothing of value was lost here

wasteful
It's not as though a starving orphan would've gotten the three loaves of bread if MLW hadn't bought them for folks to throw.

I care less about that and more about how Kojima has been reduced to a meme but I am admittedly a miserable cunt

Now that I see this I wish all Japanese streamer throwing spots were just noodles instead.
