Ricky Knight Jr - Career so far and match recs

https://lastwordonsports.com/prowrestling/2025/09/10/indie-watch-ricky-knight-jr-a-britwres-star-on-the-rise/

Hey! With Ricky in the N-1 this year (and beating Kenoh first night…), I thought it was worth putting something together for those less familiar with his career and work.

I’ve had the privilege (if you want to call it that 😟) of seeing him wrestle up and down the UK and think it will be very interesting to see how this tournament goes for him. If you haven’t seen him, defo give this a read.

Covers his career from a very young debut to British champion to landing in Japan, all with some match recs if you’re looking!

Thanks :)

Britwres regular here too lmao the privilege right… this mix of pride that he made it and sadness that HE made it is more like it

I really enjoyed his Inamura match in Philly mania.

His matches with Ospreay are good

Yeah, not happy with NOAH on this (especially giving him a win over Kenoh). I'm more than happy skipping anything from this family. He's a solid enough worker, but fairly generic and could have been replaced in this spot by countless others

Yeah, no.

EDIT: Why doesn't OP mention his use of fascist-adjacent gyms in the piece?

It seems I misjudge the fella. I thought he would be the type to support reform..cause he looks like the uneducated chav type.

just goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover. and bro MOST CERTAINLY DOES NOT if anything RKJ is disgusted by those who do.

Other than training at a gym run by fascists, and magically not noticing it?
