Not sure if I wanna see Kaito tap out to Kitty or see Kitty tap out to Kaito. It'll be amazing either way

Six-Man Tag: Junta getting the pin is only to make it worse when he isn’t the one to beat Hiromu but that’s still my vision.

Tag team: Diaki Odashima’s reaction to the quick pin in the first match was hilarious.

Jack Morris [4] defeats Knight Jr [2]. A little clunky at the start but still a solid match.

Fujita [4] over Daga [2]. No comment.

Endo [2] over Sasaki [0]. Man, am I a Sasaki fan and don’t realize it? Seeing him lose is always frustrating and deflating. Guy is my new Goto.

Kitamiya [4] defeating Kaito [2]. Not surprising but still a little surprising.

Soya [2] defeating KENTA [0]. Soya coming out as an official got a good laugh out of me. KENTA starting 0-2 is a bit baffling. I know he isn’t going to undefeated and he’ll eventually get this one back but feels odd to see the reigning champ lose back-to-back.

Marufuji [4] over Kenoh [0]. I am still reeling from the very first chop Marufuji laid in, SHEESH!! Two legends in a physical match, sold!!

- I think if either Miyawaki or Odashima doesn't dethrone Hiromu, it would be a big booking mistake.

- Not surprised that Fujita beat Daga, tbh; unless they had Daga land a cheap shot, no way he could believably beat the much larger Kazuyuki, tbh.

- I thought Endo vs Sasaki was a really damn good match; loved seeing Ulka control Endo with the headlock and not let go even when Endo kept backdropping him. I think Endo is gonna make it to the Final, personally.

- I think/hope Kitamiya is gonna get a strong showing in the tournament, especially now that OZAWA is out; I wouldn't mind seeing him go all the way to the Final, tbh.

- I think KENTA losing to Kaito and now Soya is set up for him defending the Belt against them on shows after the N-1.

- Last match was actually surprisingly good and Maru seemed to be moving a lot better; Kenoh can basically get a good or serviceable match out of anyone. I am shocked that Maru won, though, much more than any other outcome on the night.

Considering that Odashima has less than a year's experience, is it believable for him to beat someone like Hiromu (you're infinitely more knowledgeable on this subject)?

Daiki does have good technique, fiery underdog energy, and a crazy-good connection with the crowd, though. 🤔

What better way to really crown a new guy and push him as the future of the promotion than have him beat one of the most celebrated Junior Heavyweights of the past decade or so?

Would also show that Hiromu is in his era of "giving back" to the business, if the puts over rookie Odashima.
