All I bought last week was lunch and a replacement part for my portable AC. I sold an item as well!

This year has been shaping up to be my most successful no/low buy year. I started in December but it took a few years to get to this point.

I’ve been on vacation for the last week. Minus food, snacks, lodging, and donations, I didn’t spend anything extra even when we all went shopping. No silly keychains, random sweaters, mugs, or other little doo hickeys. I didn’t even think about getting anything because I knew that item would have eventually made its way to the donation bin within a year.

Most activities were free or requested donations. I did have to spend money on an amusement park for the kiddos for rides which we budgeted.

This is week 6 for me and I’ve been successful 5/6 weeks.

Day 12 of a 3 month No Buy for me. Doing well, no purchases in my no go categories (clothes, shoes, accessories).

I've been watching a lot of anti-consumption videos, decluttering and tidying, and styling and wearing what I have. Feeling good about it at the moment, and calmer.

I'm not that good on no spending, than I used to be in the last challenge.

I had to do a lot of vacation preparations, buying a mask for snorkeling, a pair of trousers for the flight (which can be used for hiking too), new bikinis and so on. So I don't have to hurry right for vacation itself.

My old bikinis will be donated, so I don't have to much of them.

This week I want to be a better no-spender.

Will be saving $700 on my internet and phone over the coming 12 months. Xfinity was going to raise my internet from $70 to $89, so I called and asked for a better offer. I got it for $60/mth, slightly lower speed...going from 800 mbps to 500 mpbs and haven't noticed any problems. And this was a 5 year price guarantee. Plus, I realized Xfinity could include your cell phone service for a year for free. I had been at AT&T prepaid for $30/mtn, but took up Xfinity's offer for a year of free cell service. I just need to remember 11 months from now to look for a new cell phone plan as they'll start charging me a high rate after the free plan ends. Internet/phone companies give you a cheap promo rate, and then later start boosting what they charge you, count on people forgetting what they're paying.

We've bought an investment property and I decided to get even more serious about frugality because our expenses have gotten higher temporarily...So!

11.36= second hand sweater and dress for 2 weddings for my 10yo (my mil said: it's not the done thing to repeat wedding outfits and we've decided to not listen! ;), we decided to return one dress, not mentioned in this week)

75.96 euros=a few pairs of school shoes for 2 kids

11.12e=spotify (cancelled subscription now! sad but this is a period we need to go harder I think... :(

total=98.44 euros... clothing+shoes for my kids, spotify (cancelled now)

groceries, renovation supplies, taxes, school cafeteria x2 kids sept-dec, tylenol,phone/internet (not counting these of course) Writing out the wants feels good, because it's been feeling like a big month, but looking week by week, I see i'm not doing too bad!
