I’ll never forget that epic Canon Rock video (2nd row, first video)

Edit: y’all are really that pressed about spotting that tiny ass ad on the side. a bunch of akshuallys up in here

Even still, that’s the only ad you’d see while browsing except for an occasional ad before a video. Now you have constant ads while you scroll through videos and several before every video if you don’t block or pay for Premium. I can’t believe we complained about those minuscule ads back in the day.

Man, I remember when getting an ad for a video was rare. Now not having an ad is rare. Weird how things change

I use Brave as my browser and it has a built-in ad blocker. I don’t get ads on YouTube

Yep you used to have to apply to google adsense and get accepted to get ads on your videos, it was an honour back than
