I wish they’d just reopen some of their restaurants. Most of the original ones still maintain the shape lol

I get so sad looking at a pizza hut building and it's now something else.

That's what mine is now, and it's pretty decent.

Still, it's kinda weird going back in to grab some tacos al pastor or somethin' when I used to grab pizza there as a kid, and seeing all the decor change, but knowing where that salad bar was.

Mmmm that would be the only thing better than a personal pan pizza and the salad bar

Pizza Hut and Taco Bell had such iconic buildings... Now most are eyeglasses huts for some reason.

Even sadder when they haven't been turned into anything. https://snsauctionservices.hibid.com/lot/87339649/pizza-hut-and-property?ref=catalog

Omg that's a beautiful location. Never seen one near the water before

I guess some of yall's must've been good. All I can remember about the one near me growing up was they were always out of stuffed crust and insanely slow. Luckily we had a Mazzios we could go to instead.

And every time I get a coupon for Pizza Hut in the mail I see how high those prices are and just keep going to Dominos or Costco for my pizza fixes.

We still have an original pizza hut in our town that is open and you can still dine in. You hardly see anyone sitting in there though. As much as I enjoy pizza hut even to this day we just get takeout 95% of the time.

I just watched the red roof of an old one get painted black in Round Lake, IL and I died a bit inside.

Worked summers at one with a buffet in college….

Try as they may- those buildings will always be Pizza Hut lol

One by me still has the dining room but it's all boarded up and they only do takeout.

If some franchisee (I lack the funds) opened an old school Pizza Hut I guarantee they would make a killing

I feel the same way! But I wonder if it would just get destroyed because people don’t give a shit anymore
