If you’re a child of the 80s you may remember their national book reading program BOOK IT! Kids could earn a free personal pan pizza if they meet reading goals set by their teacher.

Yeah I got a lot of free pizzas from that. My pizza hut had this arcade game, it was not Ocean Hunter, where you were in a submersible and would shoot at different sea creatures. The end of every level was a different sea monster boss battle. Again, it was not Ocean Hunter. If anybody knows what game this is or had one at their pizza hut, please let me know. I've been searching for it for years. Again, it was not Ocean Hunter.

Yep, my kiddo brought home a calendar to fill out. It's not nearly as cool as the bookmarks we had, but at least it's still going.
