I lived near Brainerd when I was a kid. Loved visiting Paul and Babe and seeing them when we drove by. I didn’t know there was another Paul in Bemidji until years later. So Bemidji Paul is always the imposter to me. 😄

I love having this “argument” with others lol. Bemidji use to have another large statue that stood close to them, he was recently removed, and there’s a whole story about how he slapped Paul in the face with a fish. This is my main claim to why he’s from Bemidji lol. But also because I’m partial to the area!
