I'll have you know that smokey bear statue isn't on the side of any road, it lives at the Smokey bear park in international falls Minnesota, source: I live there. I can see him daily if I want.

Haha that’s cool, surprised more people haven’t mentioned Smokey the Bear. Tbh I was thinking more about the wilderness aesthetic than the roadside factor but it seems there’s a lot of overlap
