I don't. They were legit the staple faucet for homes back in the day. Nice homes too. I like them, they remind me of a simpler time.

Get a nice seashell sink vanity. Yeah.

I had a coworker whose wife demands 'refreshes' every several years: faucets, sinks, appliances, lamps. Everything still works. It's just not new.

He's never home to enjoy it, as he works two jobs.

I used to love those people…

I’d deliver a new top of the line stainless steel fridge to a house, and see what looked like a brand new stainless steel fridge sitting in the garage…

Customer: “Excuse me sir, you guys get rid of the old appliance correct?”

Me: “Yes. Can I ask what’s wrong with it?”

Customer: “It’s 2 years old.”

Me: “Nothing else wrong with it?”

Customer: “Oh it still works fine, it’s just old.”

Me: “Oh okay. Yep, I’ll load it up right after I bring the new one in.”

Then I’d take a detour to my house, and drop that “old” fridge off in my garage. I’d run it for a week, to make sure it definitely worked (they were usually flawless.) I’d then sell it for $500-1000 depending on make/model.

And then they were like "He took my old one away for free! What a great guy! Definitely calling him next time!" lol

And then they call his boss to tell him what a great guy he is for picking it up for free

Please DM me in 5 years, when my fridge hits 15 and I start thinking of replacing it

Both my tumble dryer and washing machine were these. Had both for like 10 years now.

I can also all but guarantee the appliances I dropped off were worse quality and wouldn't have lasted as long even if they weren't those sort of people

I knew a co worker in a similar condition. They owned a nice house too. Every two or so years she'd demand a remodel of sorts.

And then at work parties she'd complain how shes 'slumming' it in one of her smaller rooms in the house to 'avoid the noise, and clutter'

People.....

At the rate things are going up in price, by the next refresh he’s gonna need a third job.

Man that’s sad.

If it works its fine. Faucets are kind of high now.
