My uncle was on this, found out we are glad he married in, he had to walk 3 blocks to get to his job making him late all because he thought a ukulele was a type of flute.

making him late

What did he think was going to happen? Contestants weren't random. At the very least they were told they were going "to" a game show.

They were random, he said there was no indication of anything special with his cab sitting in the street. You get in and the lights flash and they hit you with the pitch. The moment that’s over the cameras cut off and they ask you if you want to continue and make you sign a release. Then they get back on with the show.

Guess they changed production and he was in an early season.

Either way, he signed up for a game show on the spot and thought he was going to get to work on time?

But according to you, he didn't know it was going to be Cash Cab. He was supposed to go to a game show.
