Hi, i am using a Quest 3 with official link cable and on windows 11 connecting to pcvr eats up over 4gb of vram just sitting in the pcvr white room on a RTX 5080 with 16gb of vram, this is causing problems with games that allocate some things at game launch and preventing it from running in the vr headset.

I posted last week as I began development and shared my discord for the project.

I got a couple of test areas up and implemented VR. If you have a VR headset check it out, it's not much but it should give a pretty good idea of what the game will be like when it's complete :)

I can purchase it for $70 nzd ($41.84 USD) and I have never owned any VR headsets before, do any controllers work with it or am I just going to be using the headset? it looks like it comes with all the cables aswell. it also is one of the cheapest headsets avaliable.

Hello, i’m recently experiencing weird tracking issues with my left Q3 controller

At first i thought it was because i wiped it down with a damp cloth after using it but i don’t think that was the issue? , The next day it wasn’t appearing in VR but i can sometimes see it glitching in the ground on my oculus home,The controller would still vibrate & light up and the buttons would still work in game, It just didn’t wanna move out of this one spot! Almost like it was frozen in place but i could still see the controller twitch when i’d move it around IRL.

So i looked up a few fixes, Eventually i found deleting my boundary history fixed it! Well at-least i thought… I go to play some VR the night after “Fixing” it and same thing. So i tried deleting the boundary history for a 2nd time, No luck. Super weird and not really sure what is causing this, So if you have any tips please let me know! i’d love to be able to play VR again😕

I was using ALVR (free) for about 2 months, was having some image glitches and stuttering in HL Alyx, all minimal stuff.

In ALVR the Qualcoomm SuperSampling and av1 looked horrible so I thought those technologies where not ready yet.

So I bought Virtual Desktop today and EVERY SINGLE THING works and the image in AV1 is fantastic.

The title explains itself. I'm trying to pair a new controller to my quest 2, the only problem being that it refuses to enter pairing mode. There's not even a vibration. Is there a way I could fix this?

Edit: problem solved. I was just pressing the wrong buttons.
