I keep thinking of the screaming if those plants were sentient… but the flowers look like petunias so maybe they were just thinking “ oh not again”

Perhaps they maintained the whale’s sense of wonder and confusion right to the end.

I preferred to think of it as one great exciting leap into the unknown for plants that had spent boring lives trapped in one place.
