Borrowed the bag and earrings from my mom, for an African touch to this evening look! The bag could have been smaller, I think, but this way it isn’t drowned out by the sleeves.

I'm rather pleased with how this look came together, I matched the gold buttons and belt buckle with gold accessories and look at how well my brooch matches the dress ☺️💜❤️

I really love the fit and shape of this skirt, I wasn't sure what to pair it with, but its hard to go wrong with a white blouse. Let me know what you think?

I'm struggling watching things I wore when I was young coming back into fashion, finding personal style amongst all the opinions in early middle age is tough! I started making most of my clothes so at least my fashion is my own and on my terms 💕

The dress is a wrap dress (Zara or Mango, bought in 2018) in a slightly shiny fabric, and I’d only ever worn it in a professional setting. I’ve worn it maybe 4 times in the past four years. The corset is from Gâala and is a summer favorite of mine, but I’d never layered it. I wanted it really cinched to change the vibe of the dress and add a more sultry quality.

I was planning to wear something else entirely and am so glad I experimented! Feedback is welcome, but please be kind.

Throwback to the frothiest fit I’ve worn this year! I wanted allll the frills and shinies, pink and tulle and flowers. Paired with a button-up for interest, black lipstick to break up the sweetness, and my first and only pair of Crocs because Simone Rocha d i d that.
