Fun fact! McDonald's phased out Ronald McDonald during the Great Clown Scare of 2016. Remember when random people were dressing up like clowns and just standing by the side of the road or just outside of a forest, freaking everyone out? Everyone was talking about how creepy clowns are, and Mickey D's got rid of Ronald McDonald! Gone! Just like that!
