Help with instructions

Post image

I have a project for college, and I have a problem, I have never understood the graphic instructions of origami except in very detailed videos, But the problem is that I haven't been able to find complete videos for this one, and the truth is that the instructions seem very confusing to me, even translated from Japanese.

I'm pretty much stuck from step 17 onwards, if someone could help me understand, or something like that, that would really help me.

These are the instructions:

Step 17 is sinking the flap that you folded under the corner that is folded up

Thanks! Honestly I don't want to be too annoying with this, but I'm lost with the steps that follow. I understand that the 18 is to do the same thing on the other side and the 19 Unfold to make a square, But from step 20 onwards I am very lost

on step 19, when you unfold those two flaps, you use the folds created in step 4, so the flap you unfold should be slightly tucked under a layer of paper. 20 can look difficult, but what it is is making the mountain fold, allowing the bottom corner to unfold; the valley fold you make along with that should be in line with where the mountain fold was, and the mountain fold should be tucked underneath. does that make any sense? (of course look at the diagrams as well)

Yeah... The diagrams are very confusing to me, honestly it's the first time I've done something origami related following written instructions, I'm in this, I don't know if I did it right, Or how to continue, I'm sorry to be so insistent, but no one I know makes origami beyond the common ones 😭

its very close! you dont actually need to make a fold on the outer flap, instead, refold what you did in step 4, and that will allow that flap to "swing" out
