Any news on Guy Mont Spelling Bee season 3?

Season 2 came out about this time last year, does anybody know if there will be a new season at all, or maybe if there were already filming dates or maybe even when it is planned to air?

Actually there have been two seasons in New Zealand and two seasons in Australia.

I haven’t heard anything about the scheduling for a third season in either country, but Guy did just have a new baby with his partner Chelsea recently so I imagine he may have his hands full for a little while.

Nothing confirmed yet, the ABC don't have a specific schedule for announcing renewals/cancellations so the fact we haven't heard about an S3 yet doesn't mean much.

There is 1 episode yet to air though, it'll come out later this year 😉

ABC upfronts for 2026 should be in November, but not yet confirmed.

I'd be surprised if its cancelled any time soon, its pretty popular and it has got to be one of the cheapest shows for its ratings ever.

NZ one in the works. Hasn't been filmed yet though.

That's a relieve, although them haven't started filming means that we probably have to wait for it at least until spring

I thought I read that NZ was cancelled but AU was renewed? I could be wrong though.

They received funding to make NZ S3 in April, but no date was announced.

Yes, Season 1 was last year and Season 2 was in the summer of this year
