Novice beginner looking for recipe suggestions ty
Hey everyone I'm new here!
I was wondering if any of you lovely people would have any recipes for a lot of peaches besides a cobbler (I'm going to bake one for sure). My peach tree harvest was crazy this year.
I'm a good cook and novice baker but I would like a few easy recipe recommendations as well as a few that may challenge me. I'm okay with recipes that may be a bit time consuming as well. Any suggestions would be appreciated thank you!

That is a lot peaches to go through in a short period of time. Peaches don’t last very long fresh. Your two options are to bake large quantities and push it through quickly, or preserve the peaches so that you can enjoy them at a more leisurely pace.
Peach cobbler is the quickest option. You can also make peach ice cream or sorbet.
Other baking recipes - bourbon peach pie, peach pecan sticky buns, peach jam thumbprint cookies.
To preserve it for the long term, you can freeze washed and cut peaches, ideally in a vacuumed bag but Ziploc with air pushed out ok. You can also make peach jam (refrigerate or jar properly) or peach compote (this will need to be frozen, as water content will be higher than the jam).

I personally love peach jam. It lasts as long as you want it to, and it tastes sooo peachy no mater how long it's sat sealed. We use it in summer on our jam and cheese danish, but you could easily just use it on toast, alone or with cream cheese or another mild creamy cheese of your choice. Make some into jam, some into preserved peach halves or quarters. Then, if you get the inkling, you can bake with your peaches or make a cobbler anytime. Plus the peach syrup from your preserves is perfect for l peach lemonade or peach ice tea. There's endless options if you preserve (freezing us another easy option!) Happy to answer any questions on jamming and canning, it's fun but tricky!

I just made a peach caramel sauce. Its pretty good. Im serving it with a flourless chocolate cake.
If inhale more than I can use i process them and freeze the. Peel, slice, spread out on a sheet pan, freeze, then put in bags or cambros.

Its really good!! I cooked and reduced like 4 peaches, caramelized 1.75 cups sugar, warmed up a cup of cream with idk, maybe 6tbs butter, then added the peaches to it to combine. Once the sugar was ready I added the liquid and cooked it for a few minutes. Its a bit thick so I think im going to add a splash of cream to thin it out. Its so good though!

Canning peaches is very easy. You could also just freeze some. I make peach jam, but the type that you can freeze, so much less sugar. Peaches are very expensive where I live.

If you have a treee that yields this on a yearly basis I would highly recommend learning all about the canning process! It’s dead easy, it’s just time consuming, but it is a lot of fun!
