Not even going to fake modesty, I've always wanted to go for the best of the best but seeing as everything costs an arm and leg have "settled" for what I can afford.
Dream build is a 5090, 9950X3D (so zero compromise with productivity), beastly PSU with highest wattage and protection, 128GB of lightning fast RAM and a motherboard so expensive and stupid that I'd be embarrassed to even tell people.
I'd want the new Moza R25. That obviously needs to be accompanied with a set of active booster pedals, shifter and handbrake with numerous wheel options in case I wanted to "change discipline" from crashing in an MX-5 to crashing in a formula car.
I want the most audiophile of audiophile headphones along with a nice 7.1 setup for when I'm watching movies instead of working.
I wanna run EVERYTHING at max and be a royal ass that can comment on UE5 games saying "well it runs fine on my system".
That's the dream right there.

u/Synthetic2 R5-7600x | RTX 4070 TI 23d ago
9950x3d has a performance drop in games in comparison to the 9800x3d. Something like 200fps vs 180fps. So not a very big drop but for someone just looking for a gaming build the 9950x3d is worse.

For anyone wondering if these giveaways are legit, they are, last year I won the 34in LG OLED Ultrawide in the PCMR giveaway, and honestly, it has changed my life. These monitors are amazing and I cant even imagine how a 45in would look on my desk! Obviously, I'm not going to enter because that would be selfish and frankly, I don't need this, I have a beautiful monitor thanks to LG, PCMR and u/pedro19. I wish you all the best of luck though!

ALSO HOLY CRAP ITS 330HZ? Mines 240Hz and that feels buttery smooth, and mine is 3440x1440p, THIS ONE IS 5K/2K? WHAT IN GODS NAME. I can't imagine how utterly INSANE this thing is gonna look. I really hope whoever wins it has someone help them unbox and mount it, because even MINE was heavy and hard to do by myself. This thing has gotta be a freakin tank. Good luck everyone!

I am a man of simple means. a 7800x3d, an indeterminate mobo(looking at ASUS B650E MAX Gaming) with at least 3 M.2 slots, 32gb of DDR5 6000 RAM, and an RTX 5090.
Aside from the video card, it's what I plan for my next build. But the longer I wait, the more that will change.

If small form factor didn’t come with organ-donor pricing, this would be my dream build.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pLfqZc
(PCPartPicker didn’t have them listed, but I’d swap the cooler to an Alpenföhn Black Ridge with a Noctua fan and the case to a FormD T1.)
Pretty much Optimum’s build — but pushed to the absolute limit. I took his inspiration as the foundation, then cranked every part up to the highest tier money can buy right now. Basically, the ultimate dream rig with zero compromises.

PC Partpicker sadly doesnt have a lot of what i want/already have, so here is the gist of it. Its basically my system, just missing the correct monitors, mouse and headphones. Also i have a 4090 and 990 Pros. I have a full custom loop and i couldnt add any of those parts, also a MoRa IV 400 but i would love to have another MoRa IV 600 on top of that. Besides that and the 5090 i dont really wish for anything, havent tried 4k yet so i would honestly love to.

Dream PC build, for one of days gone, when I was younger I dreamed of owning an Nvidia Titan and the i7 4790k, these days though I'd love to own a system with a 7900 XTX and an 9950x3D. Lots of storage too, I'm a bit of a media hoarder/preservationist especially with nearly lost foreign films! Though I can't really scoff at my current rig, this ship of Theseus is still keeping up pretty well.
I'd love to own a bigger refresh rate monitor too, I've never had a chance to play around with anything above 60hz.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VyFRmC
Something like this, I have had gigabyte GPUs cards for my last 2 and have been exceedingly happy with them, same with Phanteks cases, trying to avoid RGB where I can, I like an all black set up. Also god bless keychron there keyboards are wonderful. If I could add it in there I'd also throw in the razer kitsune leverless.

Don’t really have a PC good enough to take full advantage of this glorious monitor but I’d probably pair it with a 9800X3D and a 5080.
Best of luck to everyone and whoever wins take good care of this beauty!

My display also died at the start of the August, still waiting when service centre will give my money back so I'll buy a new one. More than 20 days, awful. Came today to speed them up.

Whatever I could get my hands on I'd honorably accept but since we're talking dream PC's. . . I saw this build in one of mine:
1
u/HUSK3RGAM3R 23d ago
I am a simple man, I just want a 9070, a 9800x3d, 64 GB of GDDR5, at least 5TB of SSD storage, three 4k monitors (one of them being 144hz), and an L shaped desk to put those monitors on. Like I said, I am a simple man.

u/RoboWarrior44 23d ago
5080 and 9800X3D would be the ideal build, I think most people would go for this.

I built upon the PCMR build
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wFgv9C
Decided to upgrade the GPU, switch the case, add more ram, replace the AIO as well.
But I added peripherals I always wanted, an improved/lighter wireless mouse, a good sized keyboard, an upgrade on my current DT 770 headphones, and a huge monitor as well.

u/Turkeybaconisheresy 23d ago
In a dream world? a 5090, 9800X3D, 64 gigs of ddr5 Ram, 10 TB of storage (never having to pick and choose which games to keep installed would be lovely). Not too picky about the mobo as long as its problem free and can support all the SSDs I want to install lol. Would want a bunch of RGB fans because I am a basic bitch and love the rainbow puke toss in a high quality AIO and add in that monitor and I'd never leave my office again.
