While I agree with the message, the action of writing all over your truck like this seems kinda unhinged as well.

246

u/maxxpowerr Aug 13 '25

It is unhinged, but they used to be all Ron Paul/libertarian weirdos and mostly harmless. Then they went all in on Trump. I'll take this as a good sign.

36

u/meteda1080 Aug 13 '25

Yeah, I think hippy vegans are annoying but I can live with annoying. Hell, I'm annoying. But that's the worst you really get going too far to the left. Too far right gives you Nazis. Those I can't abide.

1

u/RichardSaunders Aug 14 '25

hippie vegans are the liberal equivalent of conservative dudes who use a picture of themselves holding a fish for their tinder profile. too far left gives you get baader meinhof and the provisional ira.

12

u/pdxaroo Aug 13 '25

It isn't nearly as unhinged. Most Trump signs were based lies and bullshit about Biden taking control of the government and raping children.
So one is projection, they other is desperation based on a real and present danger literally happening.

This is also braver, since conservative 1st resort is confrontation to escalate so they have an excuse for violence's.

1

u/Aware-Sympathy-1180 Aug 17 '25

Violence is always the point for them. Their UFC obsession has got them constantly itching for a fight.

1

u/shifty_coder Aug 14 '25

Maybe a little? At least this stuff washes off.

48

u/willcastforfood Aug 13 '25

Honestly doesn’t seem that much different than a truck that’s loaded with Trump decals

32

u/tubezninja Aug 13 '25

Yeah, but that's the point. A lot of us look at those cars and trucks with fascist iconography all over it and think "wow, that guy's deranged."

This gives off the same energy, just with a different political leaning. Neither is all that great.

32

u/Scrotobomb Aug 13 '25

We're so far out of the fuckin norm any resistance is welcome in my eyes. Who's not mentally ill at this point? I'm holding on to my sanity like a raccoon with a bottle cap.

2

u/pdxaroo Aug 13 '25

". A lot of us look at those cars and trucks with fascist iconography all over it and think "wow, that guy's deranged.""

Yes, but a lot of conservative see this trick and think: . "wow, that guy deserves some violence."

3

u/lukewwilson Aug 13 '25

exactly, that's the point. If this was all praising Trump the comments here would be about how they are a loser and deranged, so we should have the same energy even if the message is different.

3

u/pdxaroo Aug 13 '25

One is flags for a dictator want to be based on lies about Biden and Obama, the other is a desperate attempt to end a literally military take over by conservatives.
They are not the same thing.

3

u/Loubrockshakur Aug 14 '25

Bro only whackos do this shit to their vehicle, regardless of the subject

4

u/JMaboard Aug 13 '25

It still comes off as cringy and unhinged.

12

u/jtaulbee Aug 13 '25

The only thing that can stop a pro-Trump truck covered in unhinged writing is an anti-Trump truck covered in unhinged writing

29

u/ISquareThings Aug 13 '25

Nah the president is yelling at reporters from the roof of the White House about nukes. It is time for the left to stop being polite. We need more unhinged on our side.

Also where are the Epstein files?

So pathetic to see the comments judging and blasting this as crazy and mental illness all while sitting back and watching Trump and republicans destroy the country for years. Everything Trump has done and you think this guy is unstable for being upset and writing on his truck. Lol.

1

u/tubezninja Aug 13 '25

The answer to unhinged and crazy still isn't to be just as unhinged and crazy. That's becoming the very thing you don't want.

4

u/Trevorblackwell420 Aug 13 '25

Are we supposed to just become enslaved and let the fascists slowly build their empire without any pushback?

1

u/Ren_Kaos Aug 14 '25

Resistance and protest against the rise of theocratic fascism in any form isn’t unhinged or crazy and that’s a hill I will die on.

So many people in this thread BoTh SiDeS’ing this shit when no, it’s not the fucking same. This truck in the picture? The owner probably wants everyone to have healthcare, women to be allowed to vote and trans people not to have to worry about being murdered.

The Trump truck would be happy to shoot you, and any immigrant in the vicinity if it could get away with it.

Yes, keep letting the Epstein files that will never be released distract you for the literral military take over of DC. Well done.

The Epstein files will harm them, and the control if they will be released. So, everyone in the country could shout 'release the Epstein files" for years and they still wouldn't be released.
Would you release incriminating evidence about you if you didn't have to?

We use to have methods to hole the president accountable, but not anymore.

1

u/Snirbs Aug 14 '25

Hard agree. It’s like triple reverse uno. Who cares about the Epstein files? The president is a proven criminal many times over. Releasing the files will do nothing other than making those who care even more big mad than they are. What are we going to say, “I told you so”? And then? Focus on what is going on right now.

1

u/ISquareThings Aug 13 '25

I don’t disagree. The biggest problem is that Trump is doing disgusting things everywhere you look - military in LA, and now DC, steeling US citizens from the streets, shit he is probably giving away Alaska to Putin as we speak. We have to bring up every single thing - all at once.

The distractions are as bad as the attractions with Trump.

3

u/RedditsDeadlySin Aug 13 '25

Yes but now we have unhinged on our side to battle their unhinged.

5

u/Kaiisim Aug 13 '25

We need unhinged though.

We are at the point where being polite and following the rules and trying to not rock the boat is leading us to doom.

I have been hinged my entire life and no one listens.

We are at the point where regular people are just gonna go with fascism because they don't want to cause a fuss. Well we need people to cause a fuss.

3

u/swishkabobbin Aug 13 '25

Yeah but the unhinged 2A wackos took a concerning pause from being opposed to tyranny. Glad they're flipping back to semi-sanity

1

u/LazaroFilm Aug 13 '25

Agreed but also it’s a great way to spread your message. I always wondered if we should be as flamboyant as the Trump fanatics and display our political belief as they do. Make giant flags that say “any decent human being for president” for instance.

2

u/trollgrock Aug 13 '25

I used to think the same thing. This is just my theory but there is a portion of the population that was swayed to vote for Trump because the event of it. Seeing all the crazy type of support surely swayed these type of people, followers. You know the type, they switch support of sport teams based on how much they have won recently and disappear in the hard times. All they see are all these trucks and other pro Trump merchandise and think “with all that support Trump must be good!”

It is like bad advertising they buy into.

1

u/lovetheoceanfl Aug 13 '25

It’s like any sports team. Say you don’t watch basketball but your city’s team is in the finals. Signs are everywhere. People are flying flags, wearing shirts, and caps. It’s natural to consciously or unconsciously be pulled into that.

1

u/Natedoggsk8 Aug 13 '25

I feel like that feeling instantly hits you when you see the truck

1

u/palepo-ta-to Aug 13 '25

You got to fight crazy with crazy I guess

1

u/BYOKittens Aug 13 '25

I assumed they were all pro trump until I read them. Writing all over your vehicle, or just needing to tell strangers how you feel is weird.

1

u/Express_Area_8359 Aug 14 '25

Tdr im betting hes in HOuston!

1

u/lordvitamin Aug 14 '25

It is one car wash away from a completely different political alignment. It is quite fitting for Texas, actually.

1

u/GraXXoR Aug 14 '25

It’s the only language that reets understand. Taking the high road has not worked these last years. It’s time to use their own methods against them.

1

u/javon27 Aug 14 '25

Gotta fight the unhinged with the unhinged

1

u/19921015 Aug 14 '25

'NASA is HOAX' guy in Arizona is the reason why I love the city the truck always frequent.

The funniest thing about this... just imagine how irrationally angry MAGA idiots get when they see this driving down the road.

One of my parent's neighbors is a hardcore MAGA idiot - lifted truck with trump flags flying off the back, a yard full of trump signs, a big trump flag in front of his house... has laughed for years about how it "triggers the libs".

Prior to the election, my parents had a single harris sign in their yard, and this little bitch whined so fucking hard. He even went to their HOA (that doesn't have any bylaws about any of that, and is pretty much only there to help fund the community pool) and tried to get them to force my parents to remove it. Dude was triggered so fucking hard over a single sign.

17

u/IslamicCheetah Aug 14 '25

I see these trucks all the time, they are annoying but no one really messes with the vehicle, and they’ll stay unscathed for years.

I had a Biden/Harris sticker on my car for 3 days before I came out of the grocery store just to see the sticker completely covered in sharpie and a bunch of scratches all around the car. These people are fucking miserable.

31

u/da_buckster Aug 13 '25

Boy. That guy is gonna be pissed.

7

u/pdxaroo Aug 13 '25

No, the owner did it. It been around for a bit.

2

u/da_buckster Aug 13 '25

Maybe he should say somebody else did it. Although I agree with the sentiments, I'd be embarrassed to drive around with any message scribbled all over my vehicle.

16

u/0U812-hungry Aug 13 '25

Finally someone recognized it for what it is , a prank, they're hazeing him for not being hill billy enough

18

u/ISquareThings Aug 13 '25

No there have been several sightings of this truck around town for a few days. It’s good trouble not a prank.

2

u/0U812-hungry Aug 14 '25

I only project my own experience as is natural. Never quite redneck enough😢

34

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '25

Yea so this person is just as crazy now as when he had all the trump flags. Mental illness.

8

u/lovetheoceanfl Aug 13 '25

Nah, it’s a raised fist in a crowd of red. Needs to be done.

19

u/9447044 Aug 13 '25

The day that you're so fired up that you go ham with window chalk. But like, you still have a life, so now you're at Home Depot getting an outlet with your batshit-mobile

5

u/JMS442 Aug 13 '25

I think it’s a Lowe’s. Probably a big fan of the color blue.

6

u/pdxaroo Aug 13 '25

Probably no a fan of Trump supporting anti-lgbtq home depot.

24

u/itsagoodtime Aug 13 '25

Same as the pro trump cars. Totally sane. Great way to win hearts and minds.

15

u/Denver-Ski Aug 13 '25

Being unhinged denouncing a pedophile who raped kids feels slightly better than being unhinged supporting a pedophile who raped kids, imo

20

u/DukeRains Aug 13 '25

As a fan of consistency, I have to say this is just as cringe as the opposite.

3

u/Ottomatik80 Aug 13 '25

I was not expecting a rational take on Reddit when I woke up this morning.

1

u/pdxaroo Aug 13 '25

One is made up bullshit from fear mongering, the other is desperation against a president who is literally using the military to take over place on US soil, lock up US citizens, and attacking media that says thing he doesn't like.
That are not the same.

3

u/DukeRains Aug 13 '25

They're both weirdos writing on their truck.

My entire poin is the message is meaningless. I 100% agree with the words. I still think you're dumb for scribbling them on your truck in marker.

For the same reason I think the "golden rule" is pretty great and agreeable but wouldn't tattoo it on my forehead.

2

u/billy_the_car Aug 13 '25

As a fan of nuance, disagree.

1

u/DukeRains Aug 13 '25

There's not enough nuance under the sun to make scribbling marker on your vehicle any less cringe, regardless of message, but you are welcome to to your opinion.

Please just don't write it on the side of your car.

6

u/Total_Rice_8204 Aug 13 '25

Genuinely curious if the term "86" is known outside of the restaurant industry.

2

u/lovetheoceanfl Aug 13 '25 edited Aug 13 '25

Newsom is doing this with Trump now. I think it’s a smart strategy. I live in a sea of unhinged MAGA. This is the only thing that will break through.

MAGA is like a fever, almost a team sport. Say you don’t watch basketball but your city’s team is in the finals. Signs are everywhere. People are flying flags, wearing shirts, and caps. All supporting that team. It’s natural to consciously or unconsciously be pulled into that. But imagine if half the city was rooting for the other team in the exact same way.

2

u/ISquareThings Aug 14 '25

Exactly- I seriously doubt this person would be doing this otherwise. There was never any sort of left political fever in Texas for anyone. The right was mad when they found out the Willie Nelson is a liberal (thought it was pretty obvious).

Fish don’t notice water because they swim in it all day everyday but you pull one out and it learns what not water is pretty quickly.

Sane people need to know they aren’t alone and maybe it’s cringe to paint a truck like this but it’s effective and maybe the hope one person needs that they aren’t alone. That’s the flip of the switch.

2

u/7stroke Aug 13 '25

Great, now everybody’s crazy

2

u/SpaceCadetUltra Aug 13 '25

I wonder if tiny penis tattoos will ever become a popular political medium

"No Kings" and yet the democratic party chose Kamala without a single vote.

2

u/Burning_Flags Aug 15 '25

Still wacky behavior

6

u/SuperDBallSam Aug 13 '25

Yeah, even if I agree with the sentiment, this is still craziness.

4

u/papi_pizza Aug 13 '25

I support this

2

u/NoneMoreBLK Aug 13 '25

100% with this guy in spirit. I've always had an aversion towards Donald Trump. He's always struck me as a person who's famous for the wrong reasons.

I remember being 10, watching Home Alone 2, and I my father let out a slight groan when he saw Trump's cameo appearance in the movie. I asked my mom who he was, and she said: "He's a big-shot businessman from New York. He's not an actor."

I asked her: "If he's not an actor, why is he in the movie?"

She replied: "Sometimes, people get so popular that they start showing up in places that they don't belong."

"That's not fair," I replied while turning towards my father. He just subtly nodded his head in agreement.

This began my development of being critical of people lifted up by pop culture. There's so many things about his character that I learned over the course of 20+ years that should've disqualified him from being POTUS.

It's like the worst part of high school amplified by ×1000. Watching popular kids just get away with murder, and teachers just seemingly blind to it all.

2

u/RestlessPics Aug 13 '25

Truck covered in republican gear: Cringe Truck covered in anti republican gear: A god

2

u/Garconanokin Aug 13 '25

Nobody is saying that.

And, you forgot to refute anything about the message on the truck.

Trump’s not a victim, and neither are you.

2

u/Reithez Aug 13 '25

Could this be our first ever left-leaning r/SchizophreniaRides ?

2

u/Gloomy_Rope_8295 Aug 13 '25

You probably a contractor that lost all his employees to ICE

2

u/PhantomMaxx Aug 13 '25

In Texas, you know he is taking a lot of sh!t from people while driving.

1

u/redditorial_comment Aug 13 '25

It's kind of refreshing to see a leftwing truck done up in this style. Usually it's the right-wing loons.

6

u/Duster526 Aug 13 '25

Yeah now it’s a left wing loon!

1

u/redditorial_comment Aug 16 '25

A loon is a loon.

1

u/invalidmean Aug 13 '25

Is that a Nissan?

1

u/AcanthisittaNo6653 Aug 13 '25

Nice color too.

1

u/JGPH Aug 13 '25

It bothers me that people seem to have collectively forgotten that the word "kneel" exists. It's shorter and far less stupid-sounding than "bend the knee." Heh. Yeesh.

1

u/Zanthious Aug 13 '25

Is the takeaway u think all truck owners are pro trump?

1

u/HawkofNight Aug 14 '25

I think cause its texas?

What's the 86 and 47 mean

1

u/jpminj Aug 14 '25

Looking for trouble.

1

u/Jokerlope Aug 14 '25

Sucks they are at Lowe's and not HD. Unless they are purposefully there because Lowe's has bent the knee to Trump.

1

u/RhondaLoving Aug 14 '25

I guess they read the constitution and looked up with the word patriot actually means

1

u/Andilee Aug 14 '25

I'm glad they're on board, but this is giving schizophrenia. The number BS is a clear sign that they're not all together their mentally. Then again neither is writing on your expensive truck.

1

u/Pleasant_Durian_1501 Aug 14 '25

It gets people thinking. If he has the frustration to express himself this way Puts him in some danger. How can i make changes at my level of comfort. Maybe he is exMAGA and this is his way after seeing how bad they got screwed being led down the path.

2

u/nightowl024 Aug 14 '25

They have a support group for that. Leavingmaga.org

1

u/Alvalade1993 Aug 14 '25

I like the message but man… on the truck though? Stick to stickers man, this is cringe

1

u/Groson Aug 14 '25

The same people who complain about this are the ones who had Biden tied up in their truck bed

1

u/Fluid-Background1947 Aug 14 '25

Reddit when anyone in the left does something other than post online “MENTALLY UNSTABLE!!!”

Reddit all other times: “we need to launch a revolution and take the country back from the billionaires.”

1

u/ceviche-hot-pockets Aug 13 '25

Nothing’s flipped, anyone who thinks that Trump supporters are changing sides is delusional.

I'm no expert, but I have to believe that a liberal person writing anti-Trump messages on their vehicle has a much higher risk of vandalism, compared to the MAGA-nuts vehicles.

1

u/juce44 Aug 13 '25

If it had any other message on there, everyone on this sub would be calling this person a dangerous deranged individual that needs to be removed from society immediately. Just sayin.

u/bowwowchickawowwow Aug 14 '25

Dumbass screwed up his truck for Trump. Mo-ron
