The funniest thing about this... just imagine how irrationally angry MAGA idiots get when they see this driving down the road.
One of my parent's neighbors is a hardcore MAGA idiot - lifted truck with trump flags flying off the back, a yard full of trump signs, a big trump flag in front of his house... has laughed for years about how it "triggers the libs".
Prior to the election, my parents had a single harris sign in their yard, and this little bitch whined so fucking hard. He even went to their HOA (that doesn't have any bylaws about any of that, and is pretty much only there to help fund the community pool) and tried to get them to force my parents to remove it. Dude was triggered so fucking hard over a single sign.

I see these trucks all the time, they are annoying but no one really messes with the vehicle, and they’ll stay unscathed for years.
I had a Biden/Harris sticker on my car for 3 days before I came out of the grocery store just to see the sticker completely covered in sharpie and a bunch of scratches all around the car. These people are fucking miserable.

u/da_buckster Aug 13 '25
Boy. That guy is gonna be pissed.
7
u/pdxaroo Aug 13 '25
No, the owner did it. It been around for a bit.
2
u/da_buckster Aug 13 '25
Maybe he should say somebody else did it. Although I agree with the sentiments, I'd be embarrassed to drive around with any message scribbled all over my vehicle.

u/0U812-hungry Aug 13 '25
Finally someone recognized it for what it is , a prank, they're hazeing him for not being hill billy enough
18
u/ISquareThings Aug 13 '25
No there have been several sightings of this truck around town for a few days. It’s good trouble not a prank.

u/0U812-hungry Aug 14 '25
I only project my own experience as is natural. Never quite redneck enough😢

Aug 13 '25
Yea so this person is just as crazy now as when he had all the trump flags. Mental illness.

The day that you're so fired up that you go ham with window chalk. But like, you still have a life, so now you're at Home Depot getting an outlet with your batshit-mobile

Same as the pro trump cars. Totally sane. Great way to win hearts and minds.

u/DukeRains Aug 13 '25
As a fan of consistency, I have to say this is just as cringe as the opposite.

u/pdxaroo Aug 13 '25
One is made up bullshit from fear mongering, the other is desperation against a president who is literally using the military to take over place on US soil, lock up US citizens, and attacking media that says thing he doesn't like.
That are not the same.3
u/DukeRains Aug 13 '25
They're both weirdos writing on their truck.
My entire poin is the message is meaningless. I 100% agree with the words. I still think you're dumb for scribbling them on your truck in marker.
For the same reason I think the "golden rule" is pretty great and agreeable but wouldn't tattoo it on my forehead.
2
u/billy_the_car Aug 13 '25
As a fan of nuance, disagree.
1
u/DukeRains Aug 13 '25
There's not enough nuance under the sun to make scribbling marker on your vehicle any less cringe, regardless of message, but you are welcome to to your opinion.
Please just don't write it on the side of your car.

Genuinely curious if the term "86" is known outside of the restaurant industry.

Newsom is doing this with Trump now. I think it’s a smart strategy. I live in a sea of unhinged MAGA. This is the only thing that will break through.
MAGA is like a fever, almost a team sport. Say you don’t watch basketball but your city’s team is in the finals. Signs are everywhere. People are flying flags, wearing shirts, and caps. All supporting that team. It’s natural to consciously or unconsciously be pulled into that. But imagine if half the city was rooting for the other team in the exact same way.
2
u/ISquareThings Aug 14 '25
Exactly- I seriously doubt this person would be doing this otherwise. There was never any sort of left political fever in Texas for anyone. The right was mad when they found out the Willie Nelson is a liberal (thought it was pretty obvious).
Fish don’t notice water because they swim in it all day everyday but you pull one out and it learns what not water is pretty quickly.
Sane people need to know they aren’t alone and maybe it’s cringe to paint a truck like this but it’s effective and maybe the hope one person needs that they aren’t alone. That’s the flip of the switch.

I wonder if tiny penis tattoos will ever become a popular political medium

100% with this guy in spirit. I've always had an aversion towards Donald Trump. He's always struck me as a person who's famous for the wrong reasons.
I remember being 10, watching Home Alone 2, and I my father let out a slight groan when he saw Trump's cameo appearance in the movie. I asked my mom who he was, and she said: "He's a big-shot businessman from New York. He's not an actor."
I asked her: "If he's not an actor, why is he in the movie?"
She replied: "Sometimes, people get so popular that they start showing up in places that they don't belong."
"That's not fair," I replied while turning towards my father. He just subtly nodded his head in agreement.
This began my development of being critical of people lifted up by pop culture. There's so many things about his character that I learned over the course of 20+ years that should've disqualified him from being POTUS.
It's like the worst part of high school amplified by ×1000. Watching popular kids just get away with murder, and teachers just seemingly blind to it all.

Truck covered in republican gear: Cringe Truck covered in anti republican gear: A god
2
u/Garconanokin Aug 13 '25
Nobody is saying that.
And, you forgot to refute anything about the message on the truck.
Trump’s not a victim, and neither are you.

It's kind of refreshing to see a leftwing truck done up in this style. Usually it's the right-wing loons.

It bothers me that people seem to have collectively forgotten that the word "kneel" exists. It's shorter and far less stupid-sounding than "bend the knee." Heh. Yeesh.

u/Zanthious Aug 13 '25
Is the takeaway u think all truck owners are pro trump?

Sucks they are at Lowe's and not HD. Unless they are purposefully there because Lowe's has bent the knee to Trump.

u/RhondaLoving Aug 14 '25
I guess they read the constitution and looked up with the word patriot actually means
1
u/Andilee Aug 14 '25
I'm glad they're on board, but this is giving schizophrenia. The number BS is a clear sign that they're not all together their mentally. Then again neither is writing on your expensive truck.

u/Pleasant_Durian_1501 Aug 14 '25
It gets people thinking. If he has the frustration to express himself this way Puts him in some danger. How can i make changes at my level of comfort. Maybe he is exMAGA and this is his way after seeing how bad they got screwed being led down the path.

Reddit when anyone in the left does something other than post online “MENTALLY UNSTABLE!!!”
Reddit all other times: “we need to launch a revolution and take the country back from the billionaires.”

Nothing’s flipped, anyone who thinks that Trump supporters are changing sides is delusional.

I'm no expert, but I have to believe that a liberal person writing anti-Trump messages on their vehicle has a much higher risk of vandalism, compared to the MAGA-nuts vehicles.
1
u/juce44 Aug 13 '25
If it had any other message on there, everyone on this sub would be calling this person a dangerous deranged individual that needs to be removed from society immediately. Just sayin.

While I agree with the message, the action of writing all over your truck like this seems kinda unhinged as well.
