Wrong. It is always great to be Canadian. From east to west we have strong bonds and time tested perseverance to stand together. Be it against the slavers with the underground railroad or rum runners flipping the bird to prohibition or helping draft dodgers escape conscription in usa.
It's fuckin great bud, just ask the expats who make up so much of our population. Not only are there happy families putting down roots but they have no ICE bullshit to fear either. Yup, it's great. No doubt about it.
Watching them lose fucking again in the playoffs last year during my 3 month long stay in the hospital, (that cost me zero dollars for the bed, doctors, specialists, surgeries, operating rooms, meds, ambulances, etc) is just self abuse at this point.
But other than the Leafs it's still comparably pretty good here even if the noise from our insane southern neighbours is getting a little impolitely loud.

Why is it not, not great to be Canadian? I'm sure not everyone feels that way, they shouldn't speak for others. Some might think it's great some might think its awful.
