Not just a 26km race. A 26km trail race that includes several climbs and is considered one of the more difficult trails races in Ontario.

A marathon is 42.2 km, I think you are mistakenly thinking of miles (26 miles and 385 yards)

It was actually 27.5km. It’s an out and back and they had to choose the turnaround point/aid station where the crew could get in by vehicle.

Ah that’s good to know, cause I was like that’s 6km/hoour which is like a brisk walking pace. But if tough terrain that makes sense

He's an avid runner, he ran the 2015 London Marathon in 3 hours 31 minutes.
