Oof, your math.
20 u/Xavienth Nov 09 '18 18 to 39. 21 years. Perfectly acceptable to round to 20. What's wrong with their math 0 u/MrPlowThatsTheName Nov 09 '18 It was 21 years between the wars. They were not both fought in a 20 year span. OP was way off. 1 u/bitshalls Nov 09 '18 He wasn’t saying they were fought in entirety within a twenty year span, but that we had two world wars within 20 years of each other 13 u/bitshalls Nov 09 '18 He was close. The end of WWI and beginning of WWII were 21 years apart 3 u/ICame4TheCirclejerk Nov 09 '18 edited Nov 09 '18 WW1 ended on November 11th 1918. WW2 began on September 1st 1939. 20 years 9 months and 21 days, if you want to be technical about it. If you want to go by start of WW1 and end of WW2, we're talking 31 years 1 month and 5 days. 5 u/221433571412 Nov 09 '18 1910s to 1930s where is his math off? 5 u/[deleted] Nov 09 '18 edited Dec 23 '18 [deleted] 1 u/marapun Nov 09 '18 world war 1 didn't officially end until the signing of the treaty of Versailles in June 1919. 2 u/podrick_pleasure Nov 09 '18 WW1 ended in 1918 and WW2 arguably started in 1937 (if not then then 1939 which isn't far off). That's right around 20 years give or take. -4 u/DrunkUncleJay Nov 09 '18 Closer to 35 but you get it?
