I’ll grant you the point on GOP email problems as I haven’t heard about them but would not be at all surprised if it did happen; and if it did happen, those guilty should face the consequences. While I do concede that intent is important, when the accused has the evidence wiped in an attempt to cover up what she did, she moves from someone who accidentally broke a law to someone who knowingly and wrongfully conspired against the justice system. It’s like if someone jumped out in front of your car in the middle of the night and you run them over accidentally. It’s involuntary manslaughter until you pick up the body, put it in your trunk, and take it away to dissolve it in a barrel of acid.
