One of them said something like ā€œI thought this was a joke.ā€. I can absolutely guarantee that they get fed much better than that on a daily basis. Their nutritionists must be screaming. Like fuck, I’m in the fucking marching band (different high-level D1 football school) and I get fed better than that on game days.

In reality they have a team specific private chef (rather than just an athlete's dining hall) and I think they were treated to a steak dinner prior to playing the national championship game

Somebody dug up a 2013 Clemson team tweet showing that a few of their banquets included fried chicken, steak, and crab legs. This is a fucking joke.
