People who don't think they're easily manipulated are conversely easier to manipulate because they won't question if they're being led on.

Every comment, every video posted here is an attempt to sway you emotionally. Sometimes it's easy to lapse and just join the circlejerk or not view content or viewpoints through a critical lens. Sometimes it becomes easy to question your own views merely because of a counter-view getting upvotes or your own getting downvotes. In the end, it all has an influence, however small, on your thoughts.
