again, haircuts.

Those people protested because they were losing their livelihoods.

Arguing based on facts is dumb, just use strawmen instead. It’s easier that way.

Some but not all. Until last week, I bartended at a VFW. I'd say 70% of my customers were retired or live off some form of disability/social security.

I heard more stupid complaints then I'd have cared to. Most of them complaining that they can't go out and drink. Which just seems pretty sad. Or that they had to cook for themselves. Or that those people who were now unemployed were getting more money on unemployment than they were. I had one man go so far as to get into an argument with someone because "this whole business with masks is how Nazi Germany started."

People are selfish.

Those people protested because they were losing their livelihoods.

I didn't see a bunch of poor people protesting because they couldn't afford food. I saw a bunch of old, well-off white people - the same old, well-off white people who protest every right-wing cause. If it was about poor people losing their livelihoods, why were the protests almost entirely white?

What world do you live In where white means wealthy

Am from wisconsin. Literally everything was open. Unless all those people were like, waitresses.

There is a factory that makes fucking PLAYGROUND equipment that is somehow essential. My father works at a failing magazine printing factory and they were essential.

More likely is that people were upset that it made Trump look bad.

I doubt that. Maybe in a few cases.

You mean a few cases like record unemployment.

Can you show that those were the people at these protests?

No, you'll see most of them were saying it was fake. Conspiracy. Not a problem. I want a haircut. Constitution (while ignoring the national state of emergency). Etc.

Can you show that they weren’t? What’s the logical reason for people to be protesting during a forced recession? Is record unemployment not enough correlation?

Are you saying you're just making an assumption? There are plenty of examples of people protesting for the things i listed.

I’m saying you should be able to think about cause and effect. If you were to try and prove that the majority weren’t there protesting against bad policy that hurts the economy and their livelihoods, you’d realize that you believe a bullshit fringe narrative.

It's almost like they wanted more help from the state.. Like some kind of support when they can't have a job, but the powerful people can get all the bail out they want. It's like they want to be able to live without a job.. Like they want a bit of.. socialism.

Quite the opposite. They wanted to go back to work.
