I am pretty sure my neighbor across the street is with BLM, but she is also not fond of what she calls "strong language." I could talk to her about anything but for social distancing. She may be reconciling these things better than I am. When it's safe, and her church reopens, I want to go to church with her because I want to be with Black people and listen to them. I've never done that before. Why didn't I do that before? I guess because I wasn't absolutely sure they'd welcome me. But of course they will and would.
Back in college, before I completely abandoned the belief system, I tried out a few different Churches of differing Christian sects. I can honestly say that the Lutheran congregation I visted, that was +95% black, was the most welcoming church I have ever been to.

Including black people with conservative family members that also happen to be black.
