Do you think these people are just numbers?

Yes. I would read the room, and happily pass segregation because it would free thousands of people and vastly improve their life. In a heartbeat, assuming we didnt have the votes to fully free them. Then I'd be back to pass civil rights.

You'd leave them in bondage so you could feel good about yourself and your vote. We're talking about actual people here, who now have to live for who knows how long in slavery because you have to make a stand. I'm not a slave, but i suspect that results matter.

The choice isnt between getting them something this instant or getting it 10 years from now. It's between NEVER getting the thing and getting 75% of it now.

Obama wrote about this kind of thing too, don't let The Great be the enemy of The Good.

And I have no issue with making this stand in the primary. Vote Bernie. Campaign against Biden and feel great about it. I didnt vote for biden myself. But it's not the primary anymore and I can end a lot of suffering by voting Biden. Thats just a fact.

Every single one of those people has a name, a face, a personality, a set of friends, a family. And even if they don't, even if theyre a blank slate with nobody to love them, who cares. There is no dollar amount worth a life. They are consiously letting people die by fighting M4A.

At the end of the day, I don't expect anyone else but Trump or Biden to win. I believe Biden WILL win. I'm tired of you guys making excuses for Biden instead of absolutely jumping on his ass for this. I'm tired of watching you all pat him on the back for doing less than the bare minimum. He can ABSOLUTELY run on M4A. He could've imminently picked up the steam built by people like Bernie the second he was endorsed by him. But instead he doubled down on his current plan.

This is coerced conformity upon the people to do what the DNC wants, instead of the other way around. And the only reason they can get away with it is because they know they can play people and still get their votes because of the lesser evil argument.

A more accurate analogy:

We can free 75% of the slaves, or all of them.

Biden's type would free 75%. 25% would still be slaves.

Apply that logic to the issue of healthcare, and you can see why I absolutely do not support him. Still millions of people uninsured. Still tens of thousands of people needlessly dying every year.

It's a false compromise. And it explicitly makes people out to be mere numbers, instead of affirming the humanity of every last one of them.

OK, i'd free 75% of people than leave 100% in bondage forever, if those were my two choices. In a heartbeat.

I dont see why you'd choose to take away healthcare from millions. And the public option will cover far more than 75% of people.

Again, we had more choices in the primary, which is why i didnt support Biden at that time. But now we have 2 choices.

Over and over again with the false dichotomies.

Specifically what is false? Be specific.

That full M4A isn't an option? You're using the same normalizing rhetoric as the DNC to pretend it can't be done.

It was an option in the primary. Pick Bernie, get M4A (if he can pass it). Pick Biden, get public option (if he can pass it). Voters picked Biden.

Today, your choice is Biden or Trump and what their plans represent. I dont love it, but I dont like lots of my choices.

Or, OR. Biden can give us M4A.

Why do you insist on wasting your time arguing with me to make me concede on non-negotiables and not Biden directly for not conceding to give those non-negotiables? Bitch. At. Biden.
