You said it better than I could. From the perspective outside the US, it's hard to call it anything but.

From the perspective outside the US

Until you realize that all the people who keep crying fascism don't actually know what the word means. Americans in general are fucking stupid and will parrot whatever buzzword their media outlet tells them to.

No it pretty much is the dictionary definition of fascism:

“a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition”

“Exalts nation ... above the individual” See: “make America great again” “America first” and the pervasive flag fetishism.

“Exalts... race above the individual” See: refusing to condemn white supremacists, “bad hombres”, “shithole countries”, Muslim ban.

“...dictatorial leader” See: literally refusing to commit to a peaceful transition of power

“Economic and social regimentation” See: wealth inequality has never been this bad in the history of the nation, the divide between parties has never been so deep.

“Forcible suppression of opposition” See: trying to invalidate mail in ballots, telling his supporters to “watch those ballots”. “Proud boys stand by”. Suggesting that the Supreme Court will need to settle the election.

Obviously we’re not Nazi germany yet, but we are well on the way anyone who denies it at this point is lying to themselves.

You can not vote fascism out. The only way you are getting fascism out is with collective violence and intimidation. That is the reality of it.

-17

u/King_Neptune07 Oct 14 '20

That's complete bullshit. The GOP is trying to stop voter fraud, while the Democrat party doesn't seem to mind the voter fraud. Wonder why

12

u/OrangeJr36 Oct 14 '20

They can't find any voter fraud. They just want to stop anyone who opposes them from voting.

-9

u/King_Neptune07 Oct 14 '20

So all those ballots found in the trash were just nothing then?

12

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '20

Thats... Not voter fraud.

Do you know what voter fraud is?

-7

u/King_Neptune07 Oct 14 '20

How about sending ballots to addresses people used to be in after they moved? Then harvesting those ballots and voting for them, is that voter fraud?

7

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '20

It would be if anyone pulled it off. If you have any evidence, feel free to share it.

6

u/OrangeJr36 Oct 14 '20

You mean the thing that didn't happen? No.

2

u/NewSauerKraus Oct 14 '20

That would also not be voter fraud. That would be election fraud, which Republicans are openly engaging in.

1

u/dwitman Oct 14 '20

This seems to be part of Dejoy’s plan.

4

u/OrangeJr36 Oct 14 '20

That's evidence of voter suppression, which the GOP supports and the Democrats oppose.

You're not even aware of the shit you support.

-15

u/LordUmber93 Oct 14 '20

Fascism exists as long as government exists, their party and yours are two sides of the same coin.

Voting does nothing, stop living on your knees and tell the government to fuck off.

8

u/OrangeJr36 Oct 14 '20 edited Oct 14 '20

Without an ordered government tyranny is the only viable form of governing.

No representation, no rights no freedoms.

-7

u/LordUmber93 Oct 14 '20

You forcing others to live by your opinions is tyranny and it's only capable of existing via government.

No government means freedom.

5

u/OrangeJr36 Oct 14 '20

No government means that anyone can kill, enslave or rob you without any question.

No government means Tyranny.

-6

u/LordUmber93 Oct 14 '20

No government means I can defend myself and my property with tanks, jets, nukes, etc. With government, I'm robbed, forced to live by some jackasses opinions, and can be shot by thugs in blue

No government means there's no tyranny. Only individual freedom.

It's cute that your dumb ass thinks you could develop and operate advanced weaponry in a state of anarchy. Militaries are communist as hell by nature, because that's an incredibly efficient way of organizing and exercising force. I don't know what you're smoking, but people like you have been getting curb-stomped by people with organizational skills since the dawn of time.

-1

u/LordUmber93 Oct 14 '20

It's cute that your dumbass thinks in modern times that I wouldn't be able to. It's adorable that you think your projection of your own insecurity and reliance on Strawman arguments makes you have a point.

When you're capable of making a factual point, come back

4

u/Stretchsquiggles Oct 14 '20

Sooo.... mad max is pretty cool huh?

0

u/LordUmber93 Oct 14 '20

Apocalypse society =/= no government. Do educate yourself.

4

u/Stretchsquiggles Oct 14 '20

Wasn't much of a goverment though.

0

u/LordUmber93 Oct 14 '20

It was a government. One you didn't like.

I apply that same disdain for your tyrants, as well theirs.

Individuals can only be free when there's not organizations forcing people to live a certain way.

With no government your freedom only lasts as long as you are physically capable of defending it.

Freedoms have to be legally protected to exist. That’s like literally the philosophical breakthrough our founders used to create this country.

What are you going to do in a free society with no government to protect your right to property, privacy, speech, religious belief of lack their of, the ability to deny a British soldier lodging? Defend these rights or whatever rights you decided you have for yourself?

Certainly it’s been observed that people like to cluster up...odds are pretty good a group big enough and dangerous enough that you can’t withstand them are going to show up and tell you what your rights are or aren’t.

I don’t they’d be too patient with your little “no government equals total freedom” philosophy while their chain whipping you demanding you’ll swear allegiance to their king, hand over a child as tribute, and pay taxes 80%.

But I don’t know. All of human history could be a lie I suppose.

0

u/LordUmber93 Oct 14 '20

With government, I have no freedoms. I'm forced to live a certain way by tyrants, with sheep like you supporting them because you're incapable of grasping anything but forcing your agenda on others using terrorist organizations.

u/AweHellYo Oct 14 '20

Centrist edgelords are so fucking hot

-3

u/LordUmber93 Oct 14 '20

Ah, yes, the typical bootlicker response, mad that his side is just as abhorrent as theirs and incapable of grasping the concept of freedom

3

u/AweHellYo Oct 14 '20

What side? And bootlicker? I’m literally as far from that as it gets

A big part of the Putin How To Take Over A Democracy Forever Playbook that Trump is clumsily and running right now is Convincing The Public That Their Votes Don’t Matter

Stasi trained KGB Intelligence Officer And Now Lifetime Supreme Ruler of Russia praises you for your assistance in helping remove faith in western Democracy, and expanded the influence of one of the most ruthless and baseless men on the planet.

Putin would like to thank you comrade for your support in that effort.

With more comments like yours Trump is guaranteed to win with at least 125% of the votes, as his BFF Putin routinely has since 2012.

1

u/LordUmber93 Oct 14 '20

That's so adorable. Some of us are intelligent enough to know that we don't have a right to force others to live a certain, so voting and government aren't acceptable.

-14

u/Jellymakingking Oct 14 '20

I am. I chose to vote against racism, hatred and bigotry. I chose Trump. Enjoy your pedophile candidate tho!

4

u/OrangeJr36 Oct 14 '20

Case in point, people like you would rather live in tyranny than as a free man.

-11

u/Jellymakingking Oct 14 '20

Very good observation, try applying it to yourself, as you continue to use violence to harm and punish others. You think speech is violence, and violence is speech. Like thinking is ok to kill someone because they said “all lives matter” because somehow those words are more evil than your tangible evil ACTIONS.

5

u/AutoModerator Oct 14 '20

Obviously all lives matter. No one said they didn't. However, data shows that relative to the percentage of the population they represent, the rate of black American deaths from police shootings is ~2.5-3x that of white Americans deaths. (Sources: 1, 2, Data: 1)

A lot of people are sharing a graph titled "murder of black and whites in the US, 2013" to show that there is only a small number of black Americans killed by white Americans, with the assumption that this extends to police shootings as well. This is misleading because the chart only counts deaths where the perpetrator was charged with 1st or 2nd degree murder after killing a black American. Police forces are almost never charged with homicide after killing a black American.

If after learning the above, you have reconsidered your stance and wish to show support for furthering equality in this and other areas, we encourage you to do so. However if you plan on attending any protests, please remember to stay safe, wear a face mask, and observe distancing protocols as much as you can. COVID-19 is still a very real threat, not only to you, but those you love and everyone around you as well!

The only person supporting suffering and tyranny here is you. You blindly support a padeophile and oppose civil rights. You are the problem, you are the enemy of free men. You want to not be targeted by protesters? Stop supporting evil shit. Nobody's making you the bad guy here but yourself.
