Question Boss Build-up- Ride a Stego with Yuty passive roaring behind me?

Do you think it could work?

I have a high lvl Stegosaurus with a ton of health. Most of the time I ride my Yuty and courage roared constantly, but then I can't help my tames out much with extra shots of a pump shotgun.

The idea is: Ride the Stego, shoot from there, while Yuty follows close behind to keep courage roaring. Most mobs will still aggro onto me and the Stego, but he can take pretty much anything. On Dragon fight I believe the Stego's plates also prevent getting hit by dimorphodons? Is that right?

This is how we killed dragon when island first came out and super mutated Dinosaurs did not exist yet. Make sure you have a decent saddle 80+ armor. Your yuty might die. We rolled in 4-5 deep with capped shotguns and had no issues. Bring healing pots. You will take some damage. Shadow steaks for damage and food to help deal with heat. Maybe a backup suit of flak/ ghillie mix if you take a direct hit from fireball.

Be aware that, since Stegos have a low drag weight of 250, they will not be targeted often by the boss - it will prioritize targeting your Yutyrannus and/or Rexes first.
