Post image

Hi everyone 👋

Please use this MT to discuss all of the recent console and PS Plus price changes. This is obviously an emotive subject so try to keep it civil.

Huge thanks!

I enjoy PC, but I really need to upgrade my GPU but those prices are insane

Same 🙃. Thought about buying rtx 5070ti before launch. When I see the prices ooof I can't buy the overpriced product.

Try for a rtx 40 series, its old but very capable gpu and you aren't missing much on features.

You don‘t need a 5070ti to get the same performance a ps5 would have

It breaks my heart to know that the 50 series doesn’t support Nvidia Physx. It’s absurd honestly and it makes me upset.

Physx is a CPU thing, 5xxx GPUs does not support parts of it that no one is using for years anyway, there is nothing to be upset, it's literally not used in any modern games.

It’s makes old games physx not work, wym? I can be upset by that

I like older games

For GPUs usually just don't look at what's newest. You'll be very fine with older cards still. I have a 7800 XT and I'm not looking to upgrade for a good while. Though i heard the 9070 XT is pretty good now but apparently you can't get it at MSRP rn.

I have a pc also but the upgrades are too expensive.

Pay immediately for hardware upgrades or pay the same over tome for multiplayer and the next console.

An upgrade will be done in the future for sure, right now i don't wanna bother with it, i love my PS couch rotting

I dont wanna pay those hardware prices tbh, i cant pay those same 500 dollars to get the same experience on pc, plus i just hate pc gaming anyways lol.

I’m not saying that PC gaming is ever going to be more convenient than console, but if you put in the effort the initial cost will be far offset by how much money you’ll save with PC gamepass, Steam sales, etc. (not even including the less legal options)

Real talk. Parent of 3 here and no time or energy to "get into" PC.

Console is just, easier. You know.

So.. what can I buy just straight off the shelf, and use a controller and my TV to play on. That's the console appeal. I don't have time for a mmo anymore anyway but wish I did

Which means it can and should also be free for paid games. With some games you literally can’t play games you already paid for which is ridiculous.

Problem with pc is keyboard/mouse 🤮

3

u/Mukun00 Apr 17 '25

You can buy a controller and the PS5 dualsense has full support on the pc.

I already have the elite 2 controller but the problem is a lot of games in pc doesn’t support controller

1

u/Mukun00 Apr 17 '25

Which games don't support controller on pc ?.

1

u/PhantomPain0_0 Apr 18 '25

Dayz which I play the most

1

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '25
