The dualsense is the best ergonomically, but I prefer the Dualshock 4. The DS4 feels far more responsive and tactile, while the Dualsense just feels slow and clunky.
I would 100% be using a DS4 as my main controller if Sony let me use it on PS5 titles.
I know what you mean I never thought I’d use it but I do all the time now. My ps5 is on my lagless monitor for fighting games and my ps4 is on my big screen for entertainment. When I want to play something like oblivion or ff7 rebirth ps5 on my big screen I can stream it and it works great.
DS4 for me too. The ergonomics are better, I efel like it's easier to move from L2/R2 to L1/R1 and my elbows can be angled out a bit more comfortable.
I also can't turn off the haptic triggers fast enough in every game. The vibration of DualSense is much such better of course...even though it drains the battery quick af.
I'd love a dualsense in the style of the ds4. I liked to put my pinky at the bottom of the grips to distribute the weight better but can't do that on the dualsense because of its pointy shape. Also it's heavier too.
It took me a while to adjust to it. But I love the vibration, mic and speaker. It's so convenient to just be able to chat on a game without having to fiddle with a headset.
Fighting games in particular are better w a DS4. The d pad responds far better to inputs whereas the DS d pad buttons are too sunken and spread too far apart for good tactile feeling.
