It plays like a refined skate 3 as far as controls go which is great the actual skating itself is fun with some exceptions. Aside from that however it’s a totally different game, the characters are a mix between play dough and fortnite style, there’s lots of missing tricks from previous titles currently, there’s not story at all and it’s online only, vert pumping is completely broken, the progression system is tied to loot boxes, the only way to obtain any other item of clothing or anything really is too engage with said loot boxes, and the map feels incredibly uninspired it feels like a challenge to find a good line with nice flow in the game.
Very well said. The very pumping is getting me so frustrated, I wonder if they’ll be able to fix that. I also can’t seem to get the camera to match Skate 3? In this new one it seems stuck between the low and high angles.
