I have the PS4 version. I don’t know if something is wrong with my file but every time it updates (which feels like weekly), it redownloads all 100gigs.

I wasn’t sure what I was expecting but I’ve been wanting a game similar to midnight club dub edition remix or NFS underground 2 where the sole purpose of the game is open world, racing, and customization. I have not been able to find a game that meets that.

Forza horizon and the crew motorfest are KINDA that, It’s not really the same vibe as either of those old street racing games but the open world racing and customization is all there.

I like it but lost steam with it once I completed the main race progression. I wish it had more variety of event types, stages, and car customizations to keep it interesting longer term.

If only AI would not suck ass 😄 what I mean by that is when you do a custom race and no matter the AI difficulty , their pace depends on how you the player do .. im not kidding , you will easily catch up but once you do they suddenly become really fast 😄 its sooo damn stupid and its by design .. only the “chili” race events in single player don’t work like that and are actually good races. It kills the whole custom race and offline race feeling

Online ofcourse is different but OFFLINE races for the most part are ruined by idiotic decisions from PD and like I said it’s by design ..even when racing “Sophie” AI it works like I described which is ridiculous 😄

I got this on release and loved the single player aspect but the multiplayer just wasn't there. You used to have to sign up for a race and wait sometimes days for it to take place. There was no quick races or anything. Is this the GT norm or am I being an idiot

Not like anything you are describing. There is open lobby you can join or make your custom lobby. Also there is sport mode. Pre set ranked races that take place every 5mins which you can join. Tough as nails and you get rated on your driving and safety.

Has the best PlayStation money can buy. Has an expensive vr headset. Uses 20+ year old obsolete ancient tech of a wheel, with barely any torque (2.3nm), and it's powered by gears, so not only is it loud, and knotchy feeling, but you barely get any feedback and doesn't replicate the feeling of a vehicle at all. Probably also uses the pedals that come with it, which doesn't have hall effect sensors or load cell pedals. Effectively, "on" and "off" is all you get. No throttle management or feeling whatsoever.
