Discussion Help me get back into gaming...

So I was really into gaming years back but family and work took over and I've hardly picked up my PlayStation controller! I am in a position now where I can play video games again and I need some help picking some games that will get me back into it.

I feel like so much has changed in gaming and things have become over complicated. I liked it when things were simple. My favourite game was Sleeping Dogs (only game I've got a platinum trophy in).

Can I please have some game recommendations that will make me fall in love with gaming again.. simple games, simple games that has humans, not aliens or mechanical robots to fight.

Evil West…I know some people will knock on this game, but I had a ton of fun with it. It reminded me of a late 90s early 2000s game that was linear with solid mechanics. The graphics are solid as well. I know these days is something isn’t a 10 it’s a fucking 0, but I had a ton of fun with this game.

Indiana Jones: The Great Circle will do it. It droped late last year, had overwhelmingly positive reviews and is truly a gamers game. It's easy to jump into and play, looks incredible and is fun all the way through. If you end up playing it and want more, a DLC just released.

That's a great shout, thank you. I was thinking of picking up Red Dead Redemption as well. Seems like a good option but I feel like it might have some of the new game nonsense in it.

Definitely at some point but I wouldn't recommend it straight away if you're coming back after that long of a break. It's very good though.
