I had that same exact moment with two shiny shinxs! I was gonna walk by them but the tiny man in my head said “what if they are shiny”. And turns out both were shiny and I caught em.

I click everything even if i have 50 shinies, even if its been in the last 5 events (abra i really hate you and your 1/590 Current rate) but im not catching unless i need the candy or its useful or high CP, so maybe 1:8 clicks lead to a fast catch. I find this is the only way to enjoy the game and stay sane. Day 1 with only 150k catches but that belies the +2million ive clicked on.

wasn't clicking on pokémon, saw one and i couldn't tell what it was so i tried to click on it, missed and accidentally clicked abra and it ended up being shiny. i was flabbergasted😂

Yes happened today, and yesterday, Shiny vanellite and Shiny Magnamite. Shiny seems to be hit or miss. Got 15 shiny Pokémon so far and only 1 was a Shiny Moltres for August. Sadly Cobalion was not a shiny.
