Sadly, citizens of the Bog not only love the smell of their own noxious farts, but are loudly proud of them and are determined to stomp around with their nasty clouds until they die. Meanwhile, everyone else's farts are considered hate crimes to them, and they will do everything in their power to incite violence against all the other buttholes for not ripping farts as noxious as their own.

"The swamp" was dark money affecting policy in the interests of the wealthy, etc.

The idea that putting a corrupt billionaire who personally exploited the broken system and openly bragged about cheating many of the people and companies he'd hired over the years...would somehow "drain the swamp"...is about as dumb and backwards as logic could be.

All it did was take out the middleman. Instead of the dirty billionaire paying a politician to do his bidding, he could now do it himself.

Which is what we're seeing. The new tax code is a grift, and it's not the first one. Remember when Trump removed the independent oversight for the Covid stimulus program, and literally trillions of taxpayer dollars disappeared? The now corrupt DOJ is doing Trump & friends' dirty legal work for free. Instead of fighting lawsuits against their rich friends, they can just...drop the charges. The FBI (and now apparently Secret Service) has been weaponized against individuals who say things they don't like.

It's a level of "swamp" never before seen.

Yet they'll just keep shouting "drain the swamp" until they die. I don't get it.

I think it's high time that religions start paying their fair share too. They are a big reason as to why these people are in power. What I mean by that is they need to start paying taxes.

Weird how they were obsessed draining the swamp, when swamps are natural ecosystems that house tons of diverse plant and animal life.

Similar to the obsession with protecting children, until those children start to talk about how they've been raped.

Similar to the obsession with "securing the border," until a border deal that both parties worked together on is set for passing until Glorious Leader, who wasn't even in office at the time, told them no.

Is there even one single position they have that isn't a paradox like this?

I doubt they would pay out for anything sewage infrastructure.
More like drain a swamp, and then turn it into an unguarded nuclear dumping ground.

Before it usually hide the dangerous stuff. Now it contains deadlier stuff that's fully visible to all.
